KEEP is the most effective performance protein bar. The founders, both professionals in the fitness community, wanted to create a delicious secret weapon for muscle building and maintenance. We designed and developed KEEP's e-commerce platform, the main sales channel of the business.

Our first step was to truly understand Jason and Kevin’s vision for their product and what sets it apart. We dove into the brand philosophy, and things got exciting when we understood the meaning behind the name – it’s all about keep going, keep trying, and keep learning.

Visual identity is crucial for the food industry. The packaging has to inform the consumer quickly and easily while evoking the brand's values and connecting with the consumer on an emotional level. We kept the brand identity clean and honest, just like the product. The simplicity is meant to support the product's differentiators: sugar-free, soy-free and gluten-free. We opted for a main color palette inspired by yummy ingredients like chocolate and peanut butter, and a secondary one for backgrounds and digital usage. We compiled everything into a brand style guide that prepares the brand for the launch of new flavors, social media look and feel, and merchandise usage

When shaping the UX of the website, we stayed true to the brand's core principles: a minimalist aesthetic, reliability, and a customer-centric approach. The entire user experience was crafted to highlight KEEP bars’ advantages and what makes them stand out in the market. To achieve this, we included design elements such as a comparison table featuring major competitors, displayed customer reviews accompanied by authentic, unfiltered photos, and offered options for both one-time purchases and subscription plans.

The website design naturally evolved from the visual identity of KEEP bars. We went for the same harmonious blend of simplicity and sophistication that resonates with health-conscious individuals, thoughtfully adapted for the digital space. We strategically utilized the brand's secondary, lighter color palette throughout the website design to establish a clean and approachable backdrop, while reserving the primary, bolder colors for the product displays, ensuring they pop effortlessly on the page.

We went with a playful, cartoon-like design to highlight the clean ingredients in our products and the fun side of fitness and health. We aimed to create an atmosphere that’s cheerful and guilt-free, so that buying KEEP bars feels like a treat, not a chore.

The website is built on Shopify, which helped us streamline costs and save time. We've put together a set of dynamic templates, making it easy to introduce new products and stay in step with the company’s growth. As part of the marketing strategy, we've also added an Ambassador program to bring the community closer and make it a more integral part of the website.
