The team is on a mission to improve the well-being of our dogs by offering personalized meal plans designed to make them healthier and happier. They required a new website that better represents their brand and simplifies the decision-making process for pet owners seeking the best options for their four-legged friends.

After our discovery session and in-depth research, we understood better how dog owners choose food for their pets, what they need, and how we can guide them through a hassle-free subscription process. Working together with the Chi Dog team, we decided what information should go on the website and crafted a wireframe to outline its structure.

The design challenge was to highlight the importance of a holistic diet for dogs while maintaining an enjoyable and approachable atmosphere for the user. We struck a balance by blending informative video content from the founders with hilarious dog photos, custom iconography, playful fonts, and a fun color palette.

Building trust is essential when selecting products for your pet, which is why we've showcased it in several ways. The Reviews section is easily accessible in the main menu with genuine testimonials and video feedback from Chi Dog's customers. We also put the spotlight on the founders, enabling them to share their expertise with dog owners through informative videos and blog articles. For those who are still deciding, we offer the option to order a Sample pack, making the choice comfortable and stress-free.

To simplify the subscription process, we built the website on Shopify, ensuring we could add new e-commerce features as the business expands. We streamlined the purchasing journey with an interactive form tailored to each dog's needs and unique health profile. Once the selection is made, users receive a recommended plan with comprehensive details to ensure it's the perfect fit.

We also integrated Refersion to implement an affiliate login feature, making it easier for veterinarians who want to recommend Chi Dog to their clients.
